Visit North Varanger from Utsjoki
Varanger Fjord is the easternmost fjord of Norway. Varanger Fjord is loaded with intriguing history of the Sámi, Norwegians and Kvens, a rich wildlife of arctic seabirds and fauna of the Arctic Ocean. Varanger Fjord is Sámi homelands with still active reindeer herding and fishing livelihoods.

Whales, birds & wildlife by boat
Cruise on the Varanger fjord with experienced captains on a rib boat, to see the arctic seabirds and whales migrating to the area in spring time: Puffins, razorbills, guillemots, fin whales, minke whales, and even orcas and belugas!
This wildlife boat safari is available from late March to end of June.
King crab fishing
During your stay in Utsjoki, you can experience the famous king crab fishing. We offer king crab fishing tours from June to September.
This full day tour includes a king crab fishing experience and king crab meal from the crab you have just fished your-self, with transfers from Utsjoki or Nuorgam to the fishing village of Bugoynes.
