The Sámi Museum Siida is a national museum responsible for its special field, Sámi culture, and a regional museum responsible for tasks concerning cultural environments in the Sámi Area. The exhibition ”Enâmeh láá mii párnááh – These lands are our children ” opened on June 1st 2022. Sámi Museum Siida was chosen as the European Museum of the Year 2024 in the European Museum Forum ’ s EMYA conference. 

This awarded museum is located in Inari village, only about an hour drive from Utsjoki. Hop on our minibus and visit the museum and Inari village for a day! We pick you up at 9.15 AM from your accommodation in Utsjoki village (or max 8 km from the village), drive to Inari and Sámi Museum Siida. We will stay in Inari for 2-3 hours, and you can choose to spend the day in Inari with the guided group or explore Inari your-self. Inari village has several shops and restaurants within walking distance from the Siida Museum. We will drive back to Utsjoki around 3 PM the latest.
