The Sámi Museum Siida is a national museum responsible for its special field, Sámi culture, and a regional museum responsible for tasks concerning cultural environments in the Sámi Area. The new exhibition ”Enâmeh láá mii párnááh – These lands are our children ” opened on June 1st 2022. Sámi Museum Siida was chosen as the European Museum of the Year 2024 in the European Museum Forum ’ s EMYA conference. This awarded museum is located in Inari village, only about an hour drive from Utsjoki. Hop on our minibus and visit the museum and Inari village for a day! You can spend the day with our guide or explore your-self the village with several shops and restaurants.
